Bollywood and it's Magic

Lights, Camera....

Lots of extras?
Extravagent sets?
Foreign  Locales?
Team of choreographers ?
 Rain?
Ok, now, Action.

No, I'm not going nuts, I'm just introducing you to the world of Bollywood cinema.
I don't know how many of you actually care about, but I have to blog, so here I go.
Bollywood is changing dynamically by the way, but let's talk good old pre 2006 Bollywood.
Centered in Mumbai, which used to be called Bombay, ergo the Bollywood, it is the center of Indian cinema.
No matter how much they deny it, every actor in the country wants to make it big in that industry.
It's mystique, mystery, and enigma....it's magic.

To actors it's their dream but to the viewers, it's their respite of choice. It's hard not to have at least on favorite genre of Bollywood cinema. I mean the guys live for those high budget action movies which, by the way, make absolutely no sense. All they are, are, well. Explosions, fights, a couple song sequences, and a villain so dramatically evil that it causes me to burst out- in laughter.

I'm more for the romantic comedies. The movies like last years I Hate Luv Storys, which like most of these, start off with one protagonists telling whoever and whatever will listen how useless the notion of love is, occasionally even singing a song like this dude >
Then there's their yet to be met counterpart singing songs about just how they can't wait for that wonderful thing called love.

That, is my kind of magic. They even have adorable song sequences, see> Why am I going on and on about this movie, simply because I loved it enough to watch it countless numerous times, and because, well, I can.
